When the day presents you with lemons, you make lemonade. That’s exactly what happened today. I left the house early in the morning, heading to Daytona for the NCFL ESA contest #3. Surf conditions were out of control, with SSE winds gusting to over 30mph and sporadic rain showers, it just wasn’t inviting at all. The contest directors decided to postpone the event until Sunday in hopes of more favorable conditions. Already in Daytona and not wanting to drive all the way back home, I headed down to New Smyrna Beach to meet up with Tupat. He said the sandbar inside the inlet was going off! We headed over and met up with Evan & Eric Geiselman along with Jeremy Johnston. Evan brought out his ski and the boys went at it doing step-offs into the waves. Needless to say, the day turned out pretty good.
